  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

trying to decide which lenses to buy, someone help me break the tie.

As i said in my original most I sold my 3 zooms. I dont want any autofocus lenses

I have 2 Leica Zooms that are 2.8 and they are not autofocus. I have owned and sold most of the lenses discussed above and this is where I have landed especially considering your background/needs. Most def better lenses than those Nikon Zooms. Sorry for posting dude...

Hey man I appreciate the post. I thought David was referring to the 14-24, 24-70 and 80-200 from my original post and that I should use them in the mean time. I was just saying I don't have them anymore and even still they don't work for me because due to the super short focus throw. Which leicas do you have.

I did have a PL mounted 200mm T2 but I sold it when I got the Duclos Pl mounted 80-200mm T2.8 Nikkor. Too much overlap.

The 200 f2 has been on my radar because of your various posts about it...from what I can tell, wide open that lens is pretty phenomenal (and unique).

Acquiring one has been on my "todo list" all year - my plan is to get it Leitaxed to EOS and modded by RP lens as soon as I'm able.
