I had to wipe my computer and start from scratch recently. I reinstalled premiere and I thought I had all the proper RED plugins installed, but I can't seem to find the "source settings" link so I can adjust the R3D settings from within adobe instead of Red CineX. anyone know why that disappeared?

you right click on the file and its not there?
The source settings right click call should still be there...

It's part of adobe...not just r3d plugins...its available for cineform files as well.

if the file doesnt have accessible source settings, the 'source settings' right click menu option will be greyed out, but it is there for every file regardless

yeah, no source settings option on right click at all. its really weird. both CS6 and CC have the latest updates.

i think you are clicking in the sequence....

go to the project window and right click on the media there.....

haha. oh man. you were totally right. I had a little brain melt down there for a bit I guess.

thanks!

No problem....

It's too bad you can't do it the way you were trying....

I actually set up a hot key macro so with one button I can get the source settings for a clip in the timeline.
I think that is a good feature request for adobe

care to share the macro setup? that sounds pretty nice!

You have to have the contour shuttle pro for it to work....then you just program your own macros and hit a button on the shuttle pro
