  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Canon 14-24mm F2.8

Well, if you really want the best full frame wide zoom ever made, the Nikon 14-24 is that lens. No trolling, no canon vs. nikon stuff, just is what it is. Every company has their areas of expertise, their pedigree, their DNA if you will, and wide lenses have always been something Nikon has excelled at, just like Canon makes the best telephotos.

Sounds really interesting, the part about a replacement for the 16-35 too, but even if their source is right it will take a while before we can buy anything.
I had plans on getting the 16-35, but now i hope my pre-ordered Sigma 18-35/1.8 will be good enough for me until Canon brings those new lenses. ;)

Too much distortion with Nikons Superwides. Zeiss rules.

Interesting. So is the Ruby 14-24 using the Nikon glass?

Thats a great shot. Don't make think about this lens again, i thought i have successfully moved that to next year. ;)

The one and only thing i don't like about the ZE/ZF-version is the non-removeable lens-hood. I know you can remove it somehow, but i'm not sure about modding a 2500€-lens....
