  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

BT Red One MX and Red Pro LCD 7" issue

The Red Pro LCD 7" that I use on my BT R1 MX suddenly stopped working this morning upon booting up and I'm just getting a white screen. I tried re-booting multiple times and even reloaded the latest firmware, but still nothing. HDMI and SDI outputs still work fine so the camera is definitely functioning. Anyone else experience this? A cable issue perhaps?
 
can you change other LCD Cable? or check other Brian (you have other RED Brian?)
 
Thanks, unfortunately I'm far away from a backup cable and an Epic-X to cross check the monitor, etc.
 
For those hanging on the edge of your seat, the issue was resolved. I took off the panel on the back of the LCD monitor and found that one of the main cables had simply become unattached from the circuit board. Plugged it back in, screwed it all together again and voila, like new.
