Redmote froze

I'm on set now, redmote froze in the middle of rolling, won't respond. I have the 5.0.12 firmware. And the screen is on and just wasting the battery. It was connected to my scarlet x with 4.0.10.Any suggestions?:undecided:

Press and hold down the power button on the side of the REDmote, it will force a hard shutdown.

I got it...I had to plug it in and hold the power off...strange...thanks!

That is strange, I'm glad you were able to get it reset.

This Red Mote freeze happens to me about thirty percent of the time. I was just waiting for another upgrade!

For me it happens when I release it from the camera, and after it connects. I thought it was a battery problem, but fully charged it still froze! It takes sometimes two complete camera and red mote restarts to get normal functions.

Also, I get a one third monitor blind that is from a different view of the scene! Waiting for new build.

And yes Keenan, my redmote froze on me about 8 other times on set. I guess this is jut a buggy firmware version?
