  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Can you mount an LCD screen (9") on top of a RED sliding handle?

On top of my Epic, I have mounted a swat rail and a sliding handle:

On top of the sliding handle is a single 1/4-20 hole.

Is this single hole strong enough by itself to mount a 9" RED monitor?

I would say no, so my next question becomes "Is there anything I can mount to the 1/4-20 hold that I can then mount my 9" monitor into?

It seems like there must be something out there given all the mounting points on the handle itself, but I haven't been able to find anything.

if you don't use the rosette on the front you can remove it and then mount the screen to the holes just below that.
or mount the handle facing out toward the lens and put a swat rail on the back of the camera and use the swat rail clamp to mount the screen to that

How do you remove the rosette? Are these holes you talking about underneath the rosette plate itself?
