Trailer for the feature film Sons of Liberty.

We had to make an huge action film on a rather tight budget. Most action sequences had 4 cameras running on them (3 scarlets and 1 epic). We would often supplement the action with some gopro cut aways. I designed a rig to mount the camera to the wrist (fist cam) and really added more pain to the hand to hand fight sequences. Our colorist was able to blend the gopro seamlessly with the scarlet and epic content. It's hard to spot the differences even at 2k.

I know were all here because we already celebrate the awesome that is the red family - but I just wanted to reiterate the fact that we could not have made a film so complex without the scarlet and epics. Clearly the offset in the camera package prices allowed us access to higher valued named talent.

Thank you!
It was roughly a 2mil show. I'm not the final check writing guy, but thats my best estimate. Who knows how much was spent in sweat equity :)
I won't say it was easy...but certainly the final product was something we are proud of. We were blessed with distribution before the film was completed - casting helps - but I believe it came down to the aesthetics and stylized talent of the cast and crew that made it possible.
