The spherical glass inside is Carl Zeiss Distagon 35mm T/1.4.

Here are some screen grabs captured with Panasonic GH2 camera. All shot wide open @T/1.4

Can't wait to try it on a real shoot!

where's the rest of the set?! ha. internal focusing element? didnt realize till now but looks to be the same as a nippon scope 35. but those shots are pretty darn good for 1.4... although i dont know squat about the gh2 and how you extract and anamorphic frame from it.

are you missing some glass in the front there?

Very nice! any one know where I can get a Set.. and how do they compare to the nippon scope

Anamorph always interesting :) courious about visible barell distortion in this particular lens. Not as a problem, because it is easy to avoid, but quite visible for 35mm here.
Rest looks beautiful

The spherical glass is Carl Zeiss Distagon 35mm T/1.4 from what I see.

The lens is now being converted to PL mount. I should get it back next month or so...

Hey where did you acquire the Technovision 35mm Anamorphic lens? I've been looking for one. Have you shot any video? What are your thoughts on it?

Best,

Hector
