After using Scarlet for most of day went to power on and got no response.

Camera turns on. LCD flashes and so does Side Handle like normal start up. Fans turn on like normal but nothing shows up on LCD or on side handle lcd. Record button on handle and on side SSD does not make camera record.

I've unplugged LCD and when I plug it back in I get a quick white flash. I detached side handle and cleaned it as well.

I've also force upgraded firmware 4 times and used different cards/firmwares.

Used side volts/bricks and AC power.

Still no change.

I had exactly this same problem yesterday with my scarlet. After taking the first two shots of the day, the scarlet would turn on as normal but nothing would show up on the screen with the fan speed decreasing. I tried powering the camera up with a brick first and then with a red volt in the side handle with the same problem. Finished the shoot with my second scarlet and was looking to properly trouble shoot the camera later today. I did not try AC power.

You can clearly see the LCD flash when started as so the Side Handle LCD flashes and illuminates but then goes dark with nothing after that...

Fan is on normal standby mode. When I press record on the brain/side ssd/side handle nothing happens.

PWR light is yellow/orange

Exactly want I see as well Patrick so it looks like our scarlets are experiencing the same problems. What is your scarlet number ? Mine is 01486 and because of the mount the one I least use of the two I have. I just put in a ticket to RED just now, incidentally I did not see this post at the time I was putting the ticket in. See what RED comes back with. Have you put in a ticket yet ?

Bob, yes tried that and it still did not boot up. Been trouble shooting with the RED team all yesterday and it turns out I have to send it back to RED for a couple of days to be tested and then fixed. Bummer.
