We just got our new/used Scarlet Camera, so this is the first time I've used SSD Cards.

I must be doing something wrong, either in the camera set up, or in the PP CS5.5 Program I'm trying to download the scenes into.

We use a Windows7 64bit PC, and it, nor CS5.5, has a hard time handling Red-One R3D files from the RedDrives. But, for some reason, when I go to put a scene from the Scarlet's SSD Card in the program, all I get is "Unsupported Format or Damaged File", and it will not load up.

BTW - The scenes show up and play fine in the "Red Player".

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

PS - Yes, I previously formatted the card, and I "unmounted" it properly as well.

George - I noticed you are in Norcal. Anywhere near the Bay Area? If so, perhaps we can arrange to get together some time and compare notes on the Scarlet operation.

You need to bring the files in through the Premiere Media Browser, not File>Import, find the folder, and you'll be able to directly import the r3d files through there.

I have always imported files by double-clicking an empty space in the Project Window.

I don't even know where the "Media Browser" is. Would you be kind enough to tell me exactly how to do that?

Thanks for your help.
