Hey,

Just wondering if anyone at RED could give me an update on this? It looks like I will probably have to post it back and get a 64gb card in the next two weeks if there is no concrete information on a release date for new firmware to make the 48gb card work.

Thanks

James

I think we all have already given up the new firmware right?

Contact Bomb Squad request to have your 48gb ssd's replaced if you brought some.

:sarcasm: yeah sure, Red doesn't do firmware upgrade for their camera and doesn't support their customers, you dont want to buy any red products...

Man, Red one updates are slow because there is nothing left to update beside the newly released mags... and they already said people to send back theirs in case of trouble.

When a company does not fulfill its promises, I certainly get off the car. You do what you see fit. Since November 2012 it's time to please some people who have purchased one of their products. Now they are up in the market, but if you sleep there are many companies offering interesting products at a great price. My first experience with RED being disastrous course.

That's too bad.

Cannot really see from your posts if you bought anything or not.

Did you get the 48 GB's for a BT R1 MX, or is this just sidenotes?

Just curious

Yes, I bought the 48GB on the same day I bought my Red One MXBT. Having a RED one and not being able to shoot more than 2K bothers.
