So I was shooting a commercial yesterday and all of a sudden I started getting this weird strobing of what looked like different fields overlapping and mixed up. I should have grabbed my iPhone and taken a picture but I was a little pre occupied trying to keep the client from freaking out. I tried swapping monitors (no dice), both HDMI which leads me to believe it was the camera. I rebooted and it was still happening. I figured I'd try hitting record and see it it would be possible to muddle our way to the end of the day and it stopped. Problem solved. Anyone ever experience this?

Got the same problem with HDMI and even SDI. It occurs when using the magnifying function with any non red monitors. It's a shame since I really like using SmallHD monitors.

Happens on both current and previous firmware. It's likely a software bug and hopefully gets fixed in the next update. it doesn't go away, but I noticed it stops during record or a restart. See if you can replicate the issue by toggling the magnify a few times and quickly pan your camera to see the effect. I even got it into a split screen mode.
