Aside from some distracting CA from shooting wide open with Nikon primes, I really love the look we pulled of in this music video on a cloudy day inside of an abandoned grain silo in Buffalo.

I'll offer a language warning if you're easily offended... but you probably aren't on RedUser if you're easily offended.

Even so.... Who's got two thumbs and is excited for his sensor upgrade?

That was so sick!!! The direction was awesome, and of course the cinematography lovely :) So refreshing to see something lit with nothing yet still looking amazing. Well done :)

Love the concept!

I did see the CA, around 1.13 for starters, but if I wasn't looking for it... lovely job! Very nice look.

Chromatic aberration. See the coloured fringe around the talent in front of the window at 1.13...

There's a technical optical description for why it happens that I don't have time to write just now!

Yes i should of guessed that, i've heard the word a million times but never done much research on it (until now)... Good eye, i doubt any non filmmakers would notice it. Thanks for answer!

Kacey - thanks! And yes, it was incredibly cold when we shot and the abandoned buildings made of concrete weren't helping any.

Matthew - appreciate the compliments, I really enjoy working with the director, Alex, he's got great vision. It wouldn't be my first choice to shoot something without any lighting again, but our location scout assured us that the lighting inside of this place is amazing almost no matter what. It was a risk but it really worked for the feel of this shoot and we knew we could chase the light through different locations throughout the buildings during the day.

Thanks for the kind words Eric, Brett, Mike and Owen!
