Hi I'm trying to save a look from redcine x back onto the ssd card, so I can import the look onto my Epic.

But will not appear on Epic ,look.

already formatted the ssd and nothing.

please help me out

Hey Daniel,

If you use the "Save Current Look for Epic/Scarlet" feature in REDcine-X it will generate a .RMD file. So that the camera can recognize this file, you will need to place the .RMD file into a folder on the root of your RED SSD labeled "looks"

Let me know if you have any further issues. Also, here is a video on our website that goes over this process in further detail.

Check this out.

I had an issue with a scarlet and epic both not wanting to see the RMDs we were generating in redcine. SO i figured out this work around and once I did it this way the RMD looks would ALWAYS show up under the presets on the epic/scarlet menu.

I created the look in redcine, saved it as a "LUT" on the right panel and then right clicked that LOOK and clicked "export ".. saved it to the SSD in a folder and they would show up.

When I clicked on the "save current look for epic/scarlet" I could never get it to work.

The problem was the incompatibility of the cable.

Solved!

Thanks to all
