Hi guys. I´m not so sure where to post this, but I just shot a music video for a band called Shining and I wanted to share it and hopefully get some feedback.
Most of the video is shot on a Arri Alexa plus camera, but some shots where also shot on my own Scarlet-X.
I used lomo anamorphic lenses on the Alexa and Zeiss ZF´s on the Scarlet. I absolutely love the look I get when shooting anamorphic so I was more than thrilled when I was asked to shot this sci-fi music video. I´ve always shot with RED cameras before, but this time I figured I would try something new and the director wanted to try out the Alexa, and so we did.
The shots taken with the Scarlet where transferred over to a VHS-tape and then digitalized back to achieve a true VHS-look in some of the vocalist´s close ups on the small TV-monitors in the video.
I´truly happy with the results. Please give some feedback after watching it, I´d appreciate it. Thanks
