Just got my loaner today. Anyone seen this before? Footage appears to be coming through okay but it looks pretty bad on the LCD. Getting lots of banding (no gradiation in the shadows). I black calibrated the loaner when I got it tonight, then tried updating to the latest release firmware and black calibrating again and it doesn't help. The LCD never displayed anything like this with the 3 other Scarlets I've gone through.

Wow, you really aren't having much luck Ryan!

At least it's not on the R3Ds!!

What lens and lens mount are you using? Have you adjusted anything away from factory settings after your Firmware update (other than Black Calibration)?

I've got the Canon mount. I first tried a Canon 50mm f1.8 then a Rokinon 85mm T1.5 and both displayed that banding. No factory settings changed at all. I just plugged the camera into the wall via AC adapter, turned it on, let it run up to temperature, then black shaded. That's all I did. Only accessory attached is the LCD and SSD side module.

After the firmware update, I simply black calibrated again and that's it.
