Hi Everyone,
Recently shot this live performance music video in a couple of hours. These are test grades, Final graded video will be up in about a week. Very minimal equipment and for handheld shots had to just hold camera as there was no rig. More stills on my blog ( http://jamesmulhollanddop.blogspot.ie/ ). This is my first time shooting this type of music video, since they were recording sound aswel I knew only 1 take would sync up so on the wide performance shots. I decided to get flowing pan shots and static shots at certain points and would only move the camera to a different angle if I knew I would cut a cutaway shot in. I shot a lot of footage of people arriving / set up of equipment and also of guitars etc being played to have interesting things to cut away too. Overall I'm happy enough with how it went but learnt a lot about shooting videos off this type.
