Not an April Fool as far as I know.

I have a few of these Helios lenses (original ones - not these rebuilds), nice little things - just need to get 'em onto my Epic at some point, they have a nice bokeh (sort of swirling) and flare nicely (vintage looking). You can pick 'em really cheaply on Evil Bay.

Oh I'm a big fan of Russian lenses and have a few Helios (Helii?) which look very pretty on the Scarlet.

Just thought perhaps 'dog shit optics' with a closed etsy shop might have been a big joke.

GOod to hear they might be available to buy soon. I fancy some bashed up and (mis)treated lenses for special effects.

What if I just want PL mount non screwed up cheap retro glass? I'm not into custom scratches or bokeh, or tint. I don't want fixed iris, just cheap retro pl mount glass, can they hook that up? a lot of the lomos i see online look really sketchy on ebay for my price point, so I'm hoping these dudes can hook me up with some quality pl stuff cheap without customizing it other then mounting wise...

wish they had more focal lengths. i been looking into the duclos mod or the gl mod guy in china...but this price point takes the cake for PL. the only thing I'm struggling with now is trying to justify buying the red brand PL mount for 2,000 to put a 200 dollar lens on it to start with lol!

Then you can get PL, OCT-19 (etc) and even the Helios native mount (M42).
