I've just installed a used RED Rocket for testing. It seems that the system is sometimes seeing the card, sometimes not. I haven't rebooted the system enough times to know with certainty. Currently the system is seeing the Rocket, but when I play rocket-debayered footage in REDCine-X Pro, I'm getting a blue flickering cast over a large rectanglar area, right of center.

The driver is v1.4.32 on Windows 7 x64. The RR's firmware is at 1.1.16.11. REDCine-X PRO is build 16.

Thanks.

Every other frame. Looks like it's there on several different formats--all that I've looked at. It's most noticeable on dark footage. Is the card bad?

Non-Rocket buffered footage looks fine.

Example of the rectangular blue noise. It's present on all footage rendered with this card. Is this a known issue with a solution? Thanks.

RED determined that there was a broken solder point on the card, and stated that the card must have been bent or handled by the heatsink when being inserted or removed. This problem started after the card was moved from a Mac Pro to an external chassis.
