Ha ha, nice product shots! You're all crazy waiting for a group buy to save 150 dollars. Just buy one, it is so cheap for what it does. I shot my "day2" yesterday on a low budget commercial and my operating skills have improved dramatically. Built a new base, see here.

Nice work David, and that video looks great Kwan... such taunting... hah. I can't wait to hear how the rig actually works rather than looks! I think i'm gonna order a Redrockmicro Wireless follow focus shortly to go along with whatever steadicam I end up with.

Update #8: Contacted Liang directly for an offer. Also asked Basson for an offer for this group buy.

David - have you contacted Tiffen at all? Just a thought as some of the higher end systems are encroaching on the Scout (and the Scout and Zephyr come with monitors etc)... it just seems as you're in haggling mode (think of Monty Python's Life of Brian here :) - you could give them a try?

I can't speak for others but I don't have shooting plans in the near future. I can wait weeks or even a month or two.

But what are the differences between all these products ? Because the prices are very different.

Thought about it... I contacted a German manufacturer (Betz-Tools) of top notch steadicams who is also dealer for Tiffen Steadicams. Talked to them for 15min, but they never sent me an offer. But maybe we should try contacting Tiffen directly.

Blackbee pro 6 USD 6.220.-

Discount for 10+ units: 10% + free shipping + a "special invoice":

The good news is that to help our customers to pay nothing or to pay less to their country customs we will ship your order with an invoice with a lower price, the invoice will say that the price of the steady is u$s 499.- Then if your country customs will charge you any import tax, if applicable, they will do it over the amount on the invoice. So this deduction on the final amount of the invoice is very important in order to save some money.

Accessories you can buy for all models:

Combo offer:

for the purchase of one (Low mode + counterweight flwc + extra battery), within the same order of
the steady you receive a special discount instead of paying u$s 1.097.- you just pay u$s 856.-
