HI THERE, SELLING OFF SOME OF MY GEAR TO BUY AN EPIC ,
Ive had three completely bogus sales

cooke varotal 20-100 t3.1 f 2.8 zoom lens excellent shape , no dust or scratches or fungus or problems . $4600.00 comes with 15mm rod support , and nice red case. http://r.ebay.com/1wywy2

there is the eBay link ebay shows it being sold, buyer tells me to trust him , hes good for the money ,, so im taking back up offers in case this sale falls through .. ebay has been rough lately , its a total bummer ,
im only selling my gear to afford other camera gear .. its my way to make a living .
but these people keep hitting buy it now , and not paying , i dont even understand why a person would do that ?

Yes , this lens more than covers 4k in scarlet .
I would imagine it covers 5k .edit!!! it only does 5k above 30mm to 100mm!!
it does 4.5k in red mx .

I dont have anything to pop on here right this second .
of this particular lens .
I could shoot a iphone pic of something in the nle perhaps .
My post skills are meager at best , but i could try in the near future to post some
if the lens doesnt sell right away . Its on ebay also , for a bit higher price .

these were used alot , on band of brothers .
And mony other films from the 80's on up .

This has no scratches , fungus or marks or dust .

I like that your local , as you could personally inspect it , before paying .
Non local buyers are ok too .

what camera have you used your cook zoom with?

I used it with red mx's at 4 and 4.5 k
i am not able to post any footage or stills , sorry too busy , but I think you can google tests with this lens and Vimeo , you tube has clips.
its been a very popular lens for a long time , even so , I would not buy any lens . if you are not familiar with it's " look"
It's a big purchase , and I regret selling it allready , and actually if I'm able to cross collateralize some other gear tomorrow .
the I will probably pull it from eBay and from sale here.

The lens is absolutely a gem. Some backlight and you have an instant 80's look!

It does not cover 5k, until in the mid 30's. Makes sense that it may cover 4,5k, as that is such a narrow format, but it vignettes heavily at 20/5k, at. 4k/4khd (s35) it works exactly as it should.

The lens has a very gentle and cool punch and somehow looks a lot sharper than it really is.

Love this piece of glass.

I know , I really hate selling it .
Thanks for the clarity on 5k , I have yet to shoot 5k .
im selling all that gear to go epic

If at all possible ,I want to keep the lens .
maybe it's an omen , that the sales fall through.
