Anyone noticed the red one excessively flaring on large high contrast sources, we thought it was out filter pack, nope... Then the lens but not that either. It looks as there is bounce back in front of the sensor.

The camera was pointing into a bathroom, 2 2x3 windows blown out with a 4k ARRI shooting into 216 right down the pipe of the camera. When we stemmed up an tilted down on the unit to void shooting the unit right down the lens. It went away.

we also have an epic on this shoot and he did not have these issues.

Here is a screen grab of what Mario is describing...

Has the bezel been upgraded?

There is no bezel upgrade for the RED ONE.

Any chance of seeing this clip in motion? What I'm seeing in the still posted by A Juhl is the dark streaking coming off the window to the left side of the frame. To me that suggests a black-shading or processing issue.

Internal bounce or reflections often occurs on digital cameras because the OLPF and sensor itself are reflective surfaces. More so than film... Based on the description though, it's difficult to identify the problem with certainty. Typically in the case of sensor or OLPF internal bounce "flares" we will see a red tinted reflection or flare, often with geometric shapes of the OLPF 'cells' or sensor photo sites outlined.

Yes those horizontal lines in the dark area gave iit away. The move with the window. Yet are not stationary in the frame. Black shade every morning after camera is up to temp
