Hi!

Does a Right Angle Lemo Power Connector (Adapter) for Epic/Scarlet exist?
I'm thinking an adapter that lives on the camera - you just plug the normal power cable into it if you need the cable to the side, instead of under the modules...

Thanks!
George

Yeah, I talked a bit to Atomos about that recently. It is definitely something we would like to do, but it would have be be a pretty small run, and might not be cost effective. Did run into this while looking at different solutions...

Don't know if you could fit both on at the same time though. Also, they cost a bunch.

I inquired about these too but they are so darn expensive even more than Jason posted above.

$200? Really...

I might pay $200 for a LEMO power extension (b/w 3-5ft) with a right angle adapter on the camera end, but I would not personally spend $200 if it was for a right angle elbow alone.

Same here...

Agree with the above - I'd pay $200 for an extension but not just the adapter.

We've looked into it for a few rental houses. The connectors are prohibitively expensive and no one was able to justify using them. Their was also a couple hundred pc. MOQ from LEMO, so it wasn't worth while.

We're pricing out a short right-angel adapter cable. I'll post some pricing soon and see if it's at all viable to anyone.

Looking forward to it!

If we did a run of 500, we could do them for $90. Any amount less and the cost would be much greater.

They would something along the lines of this: (Please excuse the rough mock-up)

Or would people rather have a long extension cable with a right angle connector?

I prefer this 2" version instead of the extension.

I'm definitely in!
