Shoot 25 time base project or 24 and use varispeed?

Hi,
I live in Europe and the R1 is for documentary purpose, so I have to film in 25fps frame rate, the problem is that when I use 25, I can only get 100fps in 2K, is there any problem in setup the R1 project to shoot 24fps and them use varispeed to shoot in 25fps?
In this case I can get the 25 frame rate for PAL and can get the 120fps instead of 100fps...

I always shoot 25fps, but I have to shoot it in 2k 2:1 to get the full 120fps.

Humberto,

Changing your project from 24fps to 25fps should not restrict the maximum frame rate.
You can only shoot 120fps at 2K 2:1, REDcode 28 or 36, but both 24fps and 25fps project settings should allow that.
