  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Snow Day

Rob, great stuff! Isn't it fun filming the kids with such quality.

Beautiful work. What a treat! Happy New Year!

Hey Rob, hope you don't mind me posting this in your thread but as a fellow Reduser who like's filming his kids in 4K every once in a while, figured I might as well keep this in a singular thread. I shot this the other day after a small snowstorm. All handheld on Red One MX. Unfortunately I had to grab the camera quick and didn't grab my DP4 EVF so I could barely see the LCD screen most of the time so focus was done by guessing distance, so some things may not be perfectly in focus.

Fixed the link. Also you can change player size with setting. I'm still getting used to Sorenson 360. :-)

Hopefully it plays smooth for you guys at 720. If not, I can post on Vimeo. Data rate is at about 8Mb/s.

Love it!

Thanks, guys.

Love the video, Steve. Don't mind at all.

My kids will definitely have some pretty epic (excuse the pun heh heh) home videos. Very fun.

Now it's back to work. :)

Looks great guys! The speedgrade look seems pretty effective but doesn't look too magic bullety.

I like Speedlooks a lot, but I'll admit I'm still figuring it out. I'd had it for a day when I did the color on this project. The main reason I picked it up is because it the end result seems far more filmic than the "looks" in Magic Bullet, but that's just my opinion. Excited to see what it does with something a little more balanced.
