Thought I'd share some screengrabs from my latest Red Project - Project Schoolies. It's a teen drama that follows a group of school leavers as they celebrate the end of their exams in Surfers Paradise, Australia.

Watch on YouTube for 1080p

I wrote and directed the webseries, shot last week on the Gold Coast

Red Scarlet with Zeiss primes (35mm, 50mm and 100mm)

There are one or two GH2 shots in there too (crowd shots).

Outstanding work Ric! Excellent job with the length of the episodes and the cliff-hangers at the end of each. Perfect execution of a web-series to grab people's attention. Hope you have a ton of viewers!

Hey Jagger! Thanks for the feedback!

Have got the next few episodes online too.

The show was shot with a very minimal lighting rig - almost entirely with natural light, augmented with one or two pracs where possible. Hired lights for one day only - for the night beach exteriors in ep 5 as it was pitch black.

We had a crew of 3 - producer, director/sound recordist, camera op. A challenge sometimes - but let us move really quickly.
