Has any one used bot the standard speed Cp2 T2.1 lens against the speed T1.5 set... I am curious to know if the speed set is any better optically across the T stop range or if they simply seem like the same optics just a faster iris. I dont feel I would actually shoot at T1.5 or anything less than 2.8 really. I would assume T2-2.8 on a speed lens would be a little better than the T2.1 version wide open. thanks

The same lenses, however I can imagine that they would spend some extra time looking for the best possible glass at that maximum aperture. Certainly better than the ZE/ZF versions from what I have seen on a bench, but not Master Primes by any means. The 50/1.4 remains the least attractive of the bunch.

The 35mm T1.5 is a different optical construction from the 2.1.
Based on the ZF 35/1.4 which was released a few years after the ZF 35/2.
Both of them are among the best lenses in the ZF/ZE/CP ranges.
