What is the difference between all of these APC UPS backups?

I think the 1500VA is what I need, but there are a bunch in different shapes and sizes...

The form factor on the last one seems good, but it's the cheapest... is that bad?

Which ones do you guys use?

I have the cheaper one, got it at staples works great.
The bigger ones have more outlets and probably stay powered longer as well in blackout.
I just want enough time to save and shut down.

Yeah I saw that one at Staples the other day. It does only have 3 battery outputs, didn't notice that. I think I'm gonna need at least 5, so I guess I need one of the first 2.

I use APC pro 1500. Has worked flawlessly and with much peace of mind. If you buy that model, it won't dissapoint. sleek and compact..

That is a good point. I hadn't thought about that. Thanks for the link, I will definitely take this into consideration.

I try to find a system that has a voltage regulator with sine wave output. That is clean power no matter what the grid is doing at the moment.

I am not at all sure but this is what I could find of APC on B&H that might fit the bill.

The only problem is that it only has 3 battery backup outlets. If I have a Mac Pro, G-Raid, Maxx Raid, Red Station, and Monitor hooked up I need at least 5 outlets.

I've looked at the larger options but the only problem is the 20amp outlet. I don't always have access to one especially on smaller productions.

I have a 2200XL that I like. You need to plug it into an 20amp outlet. I run a couple of RAIDs, my workstation, and a projector off of it.

Ended up getting this. Just got it from UPS in fact. I was bummed out to find out it has a NEMA L5-15 plug instead of a standard 5-15. Got confused when reading the specs I guess.

Will using an adapter be okay?

It's also quite heavy! But then again most UPSs are.
