Hey guys this is the first short that i have shot using my scarlet. It was shot with a canon 24-70mm 2.8, 50mm 1.2 and a tokina 14-16mm 2.8. This was the first time working with Red, dont get me wrong there is still alot to learn but i think the image you get out of the camera is brilliant and seeing the image quality on something bigger than just a preview monitor was amazing. We shot the short over two days in a very small timeframe with a crew of 4 people. My friend Tom Rowe wrote and directed the short and also did the offline edit.

Let me know what you think guys

Well done Mark, very much enjoyed it. Would have loved to have seen the girls reaction when she found the letter though. Its shot well and loved the idea behind it. Is this the final grade for the film?

Hi Ryan, thanks for taking the time to watch through. Yea its the final grade, The director wanted that washed out look so really the grading was very minimal from what we actually got from the red itself. I think if we had more time and more lights we would have spend time trying to get that flair and worked with some gels to get a more warm feel similar to the match.com advert in the music shop.

sequel??

enjoyed! thanks for posting.
poor bugger....

liked the Grade. suited the setting to a 't'. Intro CG on building was a nice touch.
