This was shot in one day on the Red Epic with Cooke S4s and a mixture of frame rates. We really pushed the Epic right to the limit in terms of underexposure (some might say too far...), but I'm largely pleased with the results. It was a 1 day shoot with a small crew (director, DP, Grip).

Because of some of the Epic's intuitiveness, I was able to use the same approach I would on a bigger job for this piece. We used a LUT in camera that I created to get us close to our final image. After shooting, we edited everything at it's native resolution in Adobe Premiere. Then we sent an EDL to DaVinci, graded the piece (using the LUT as a starting point), and exported our deliverables (all 1080 HD finals) from there.

Admittedly, I didn't have a generated LUT from some sort of software. I just dialed in the look under the Epic's image menus and would reference both RAW and my "look" for exposure, while using the look in Premeire. Sorry if I was misleading or confusing.
