Hey guys, I did a shoot the other day, audio guy recorded to the Epic and to an external recorder. After converting all the footage to ProRes HQ, the audio sounds perfect in quicktime. But when I bring it in to FCP, all I get is this horribly loud hiss. It's not peaking, right at -6db. And I can kind of hear fluctuating where there should be normal sound. Any thoughts? I really don't have time to manually sync and we didn't slate anything so it would take forever.
Again, 4k to ProRes HQ, sounds fine in Quicktime, but in FCP(viewer and timeline), it is a horrible hissing noise.
Thanks!!!
