Speed Panchro warm color shift?! Haha, that was like an Antique Suede 2! Still my favorite set of vintage primes as long as they are rehoused nicely.

And regarding them saying they can't confirm coverage, I can tell the world that ALL Mini-S4's (formerly Panchro/i's) cover Epic 5k sensor easily. They are all made to cover a 33.54 diameter, and probably spill over further if you count the non-intended portions of the image circle. For instance, that non-intended part of the image circle covers FF 5D sensor on the Mini-S4 75mm and 100mm.

If those serial numbers are correct, that is one of the first set of Cooke Panchro/i's, I believe. Good old serial number #90.

What exactly is port holing? This is a more exaggerated vignetting?

the traditional vignetting (shadeing) is a bit different from what I understand by 'port holing'... Where as vignetting would be the same stop drop across all sensor types (inc film) Port Holing is specific to sensors. With older lens designs the light rays can come at the sensor at too acute an angle. Ideally lenses for digital cameras should be tending towards plane side telectricity. This would be when the light exits the lens perpendicular to the sensor plan..

Looked like sepia was added, haha.

I belive that vignetting refers to the efect of a gradual shade on the corners of the image, while portholing refers to the action of the image circle of the light traspassing the lens not being able to cover the whole sensor/film.
