  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Anyone with experience using Action Products?

They make consistently top-notch products. Can't go wrong here.

They invent it, then it gets copied. John Ruskin comes into mind here.

They are top notch.

The audio solution with the XLR in the back, the riser and the protection of the 3.5mm plugs in front with included 15mm holes is by far one of best thing you can put on your EPIC.

agree totally with peter, works great! topplate is also great, except that it has one to many 12v connector on the front side, sticking out above the lens mount, making it harder to reach the lens mount, i wished they left that one out.

Couldn't agree more! We have that setup on our Epic M and love it. The riser makes the camera compatible with all industry standard baseplate setups and the XLR inputs look like they are factory installed, super clean and low profile.

They are the best accessories you can find for Epic and Scarlet.

I have the whole package, I can't even imagine how people are doing without them.
The few times I wasn't hired with my camera, and had to use rentals, I felt so disappointed with the lack of basic founctionnalities.

As Max. M said, the only draw back is the top plate front right 12v output. If you combine that to the handleless Red Titanium PL Mount. It's a bit harder to swap lenses.
The only thing that makes me reconsider it is the Meizler Module and it's $13 000.
