Hi Everyone,

I have been searching for alternatives to the Battery belt clip Mount. Basically I have two batteries but have no way to use them on the camera. I can't afford the quickplate etc and could possibly stretch to the Battery belt clip by selling one or two things on Ebay. But was wondering if there any cheaper alternatives? At the moment I just need a mount with the proper connection into the Red one so I can use the batteries on it. Any advice?

Was wondering if that is good enough to use? is it the right cable to attach to the camera?

Thanks

James

Realized that the mount I linked doesn't have 2b lemo 6 pin connector. Can't seem to find a cheaper option than battery belt clip. Guess that will do me for now as its cheapest and also means can have batteries off the camera for the shoot in January.

I was looking for the same thing myself a couple of weeks ago. The RED belt clip seems to be the least expensive way of connecting V-Mount batteries to the RED ONE.

Correct. I recently ordered a BT RED One. I believe they make the same V-mount plate wired for Epic as well.
Thanks,

Chris

I have had the belt clip for Scarlet/Epic since I got my camera in March because there was a side handle shortage at the time. I use it a lot and in the scheme of things Red, it is not that expensive. I use it with an old compact SLR shoulder bag instead of clipping it on my belt and losing my pants. The added advantage of using a bag is that you can feed out only so much cable as you need...
