  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

UFO over DENVER !!

Shoot it with a side by side 3d rig, cameras about 10 to 20 ft apart, and you can calculate it's position and speed.
Better yet, shoot with 3 cameras from different vantage points. Back calculate it's position in 3 space.

A bug moving at that angular speed would be close enough to the camera to hear it's buzz. ( tens of feet )
The news video looked like the object was going 10X the speed of the jet model. shrug.

Interestingly, the case I was mentioning took place in Trumbull County. Here's a link. http://www.sightings.com/1.reports2010/trumbull.html

This is great stuff Steve, I was not familiar with this one. All I can say is that I have been fairly skeptical until I reluctantly visited the ECETI ranch near Mt Adams, WA 2 summers ago where ironically a sighting from a pilot coined the term "Flying Saucers" when he saw 9 metallic looking discs back in the 1950'

But I witnessed first hand and captured these images of the legendary "Mt Adam Lights" (Yakima indians reported them first over 120 years ago) unfortunately on my crappy iPhone

I wiggled in the second one where a 2nd light appeared above the first. Some geologists think its Piezo electricity caused by volcanic activity deep underground
others think its inter dimensional space ships... all I know is that it gave me a chill and there were over 20 people there who saw it and were like "ooooh"

14 miles away - above the tree line, which would make it roughly the size of a city block. winked on for 2-3 minutes and was as bright as an arc welder.
Again not saying it was aliens but it was definitely cool and a weird phenomenon...

as for the video in OP. no way it was a fucking bug... but bottom line is that if there IS a govt cover up. its because of some of the comments on here.. people don't want their reality disrupted ts way easier to dismiss things like what you posted as a "bug" or balloon .:001_rolleyes:

EDIT: We drove to within 1 mile the next day and the spot where these lights occurred were just barren brown rock. I have been wanting to go back with a bunch of Red EPIC owners ever since... Im not going to post what we saw in the sky all night long... because it was even crazier... my GF is a regular on MUFON and obsessed with this stuff... all I know is there are no craft on earth that do what we saw and filmed that night... the only thing i struggle with is all the wackos who show up there with tin foil hats... usually crazy lonely cat ladies. :)

Here is a pic I took of Doug Trumbull using my Epic cameras for UFO research. One Epic has a night vision scope with a Canon telephoto. The other Epic is on his UFOTOG rig with Astro-Physics telescope.

True on the speed of the Humming Birds. If it was a hoax, I would say it was something in the line of an Autonomous Quadrotor. The way the object rolled in the sky made me think of it. They appear to move pretty fast.

Well before I dove into Film, I Was an Engineer at JSC in Houston Working for Johnson Engineering, We Used to develop Concepts for Flight Simulations on Other Worlds(Mars Specific) and we had some interesting Concepts of Jet stabilized Platforms with Rapid Firing Jets using Gyros to actuate the Jets. Im Trying to find some Videos , even Those are slower than that Video in Denver.

I think it's an alien ship, and I believe they are trying to tell us something, they just can't slow down or stop long enough to make contact. I think "they" might be having a problem with their Finite Rest Mass Alternator belt.

Doug Trumbull is one of my good personal friends. We actually met on a scientific UFO research expedition he was helping our research team on (as a consultant) and it also involved one of the brightest scientific minds in the world :)

But before I get ahead of myself, I want to clarify Doug's mission with UFOTOG. Ketch I mean no harm, but please don't ever put "The Blairwitch Project" in the same sentence with Douglas Trumbull and UFOs! ;)

Doug wants to create a groundbreaking 3D-IMAX presentation or series of films following the greatest scientific investigation of UFOs the world has ever seen. The investigation would be completely grounded in hard-science, involving the best scientists/ field researchers, instrumentation, camera optics, and of course cameras (Red cough…Dragon… cough) the world has to offer!

Now, the main issue is that this type of work takes a TON of time, resources, and in essence some luck…unless you have access to a location with on-going activity like some kind of "living laboratory". Which we happen to have! Now, it just takes some serious funding by some serious people who share a similar vision as Doug.

Basically, the film(s) would be like a "Ghosts of the Abyss" on steroids type of 3D-IMAX film. Engulfing the audience in the reality of the subject matter as if they are present witnessing first-hand the phenomena for themselves. Absolutely no "Blairwitch Project" crap! Everything would be captured on smooth motion activated rigs designed by Trumbull himself, along with steadicams, tripods, etc. Probably some GoPro 3's up close and personal with the "UFOs". It has happened before but the camera resolution was like 640x360…if that!!! But we would probably have to shoot film on a special rig as well as our team has had ALL of our equipment shut down by these dudes!

And let me tell you… it does not get any better than what Doug is capable of coming up with! ;)

Now for some background on me. The research team I was working with has been studying "on-going" activity in a quiet mid-western town since 1998.

Plain and simple. The phenomenon is as real as you and I.

I'm not claiming this is "alien", "inter-dimensional", time travel, etc.… none of us have the authority to do so. But, the common denominator throughout our research IS the "intelligence factor" (which involves hundreds of cases, including physical evidence, and over 200+ witnesses). And let me remind you that the witnesses involved throughout the majority of our cases (excluding the research team of course) can be described as old-fashioned, bible thumping, no nonsense folk that would never utter the word 'UFO"…until of course they need help (for many different reasons of course).

Also, as Tim previously mentioned, all of our teams research was being done before a Red was affordable for me to purchase! Hell it was expensive to buy anything with HD! I was an Undergrad at the time and the best camera I could get my hands on was my University's Canon XL1. Of course, now I own a Red Scarlet with a second Red (Red One MX) on its way soon! Damn I wish I could go back in time!

We all know it takes serious funding to get anything done. I have spent hundreds of hours, my own money, and made many sacrifices along the way to help investigate this on-going activity on an a regular basis over a 3 year period. We came close to receiving funding that would allow our team to be present 24/7 and would provide us with state-of-the-art equipment. However, the rogue billionaire played us (not going to mention any names so don't ask!) and they apparently got what they wanted… The location of the area.

Subsequently the lack of funding caused the team to fall apart as we could no longer afford to conduct the research out of our own pockets. However, the lead investigator is still there fighting the good fight.

Honestly, conducting serious UFO research is no easy task and the common attitude one has to deal with makes it that much more difficult to endure. Come on people, human beings are only capable of handling a finite amount of lame probing jokes in one lifetime!!!

My advice to everyone is to put all of your personal beliefs, prejudices, and fear aside and dive in to the research. Occam's razor is your best friend...even after you realize the only option left is "crazy"! haha. And without a doubt be ready to travel down an endless rabbit hole.

We're in Boulder, CO. I clearly remember a guy showing us footage years ago that looked very much like this and telling us about all of the UFO's that only slomo video could detect. It was obviously tiny pieces of material or bugs very close to the lens- any one in 'video' could tell that, but he was convinced. I've got to look back and see if I can remember who he was. There is a LOT of little tine stuff in the air. Check this:

I would guestimate that 99% of UFO sightings are misidentified craft, stars/ planets, natural phenomena (ball lightning, swamp gas, etc.), optical illusions, dirt/ dust particles, bugs, etc. and these are typically the sightings that catch publicity because people are unfamiliar with these subjects and we are not trained observers. However, on rare occasion there is a case that will mystify science, physics as we know, and goes unexplained. These are the 1% that can not be explained and are the cases to focus on. Like I said, you have to be willing to sift through all the noise....which there is a ton of that out there! But once you hit a case or a bunch of connected cases that involve the same phenomena it is the weirdest roller coaster ride you could ever imagine! ;)

This is fascinating and all.. but are you suggesting that only 1 of these "bugs" was photographical? That seems more far fetched than a UFO - :)

wouldnt there be dozens of UFO's then? andyway I agree with adam below. MOST are misidentified... but 1% are truly unexplainable phenomenon

Haha, I totally did watch it, I swear. It was just a few days ago, and I'd completely forgotten about the content.

My main point was that this particular story was spreading to a national platform. But, all the same, my bad!

No worries Adam. Just thought maybe I missed something. Watched the whole CNN piece.
