I've submitted a ticket already, but since I've had my 512GB mag it's been trouble.
I have had several errors that required a forced shutdown of camera, usually when I shoot high speed.
i submitted a ticked and was told to do a secure format, this seem to work for a few days, but today I got an error, now the mag is unusable. Not readable by my camera or computer. I also could not recover the data on the card using REDundead.

I just want to know if I just have a bad mag, or if anyone else is having this problem.

Hi Nick,
Thanks for responding. I did file a ticket and I am going to send the 512GB mag in for evaluation as soon as I get back from Japan.
It was a real drag to loose that days footage, and continue the rest of the shoot without the 512GB mag will be a stretch as we are shooting two cameras, a Scarlet and an Epic.

Do you know how long an evaluation might take, I have a short turn around time of just 9 days. We really need that mag for the next shoot as well.

Best,
Joe

PS- I really appreciate how quickly you guys respond to issues like this.

I have two of the 512 cards and also experienced errors with them on a recent shoot. In normal conditions they preformed fine, but this last job had tons of 120fps at the least compression and it would randomly crash my Epic and force a shut down. The clip still saved but I specifically want those cards for high speed sht with less compression. Both of my 512s crashed at ome point on the shoot (and multiple times)...

My DIT saved te log file... We can forwarditi soon,

Christopher, please send the camera log file directly to me at nick-dot-grow-at-red-dot-com when you get a chance. Thanks.
