I don't keep a close eye on lower-end developments so perhaps someone can bring me up to speed.

The mirrorless MFT concept is interesting, and I've been intrigued by what's been done with cameras such as the GH2. In particular, I'm impressed with the range of mounts available - everything from FD to PL.

Are there any mirrorless systems available with a significantly larger sensor than MFT - APS-C size, or even full-frame 35mm - but still with a relatively shallow FFD, thus permitting adapters for virtually any lens you can think of? And don't say 'EPIC' - I have one already! :-)

Thanks!

Mike

All the Sony NEX cameras are mirrorless...the FS700 comes to mind...I think the NEX line is the one to keep an eye on....as good b-cams and go-pro alternates. They can take ANY lens, as you say...as it's essentially a universal mount. Adapters for any type of lens are about $20-30.

Nex. Hmmm. They had slipped completely beneath my radar. Pretty much exactly what I asked for! Thanks!

Keep an eye on GH3. Played with one recently. OLED screen, headphone jack, 72 mb/s without any hacking, 3.5mm mic input (as opposed to 2.5mm on gh2). Clean HDMI output (8-bit, 4:2:0) Build seems more solid and some new features. Panasonic seems to be opening up to the idea of letting this camera compete with some of their professional video products.

On that note, how about stills? I love the idea of a baby DSLR. I've had a Panasonic Lumix LX5 as an alternative to my 7D for travel and snapshots, but this whole 4/3 world is looking good. I'll admit, I was a hater at first!
