HAHAHA Okay, so a few weeks ago there was some discussion about wether it was still possible to upgrade an original Red One to the MX sensor. The reply was affirmative... thought I would check again given todays news, and if it is still possible (which i am hoping) what is the cost now?

Ah Thought that might be the case. Thanks

I asked this question tonight as I still have an original M sensor. I'm not entirely sure the update is still there, but the price appears to be above a BT Red One.

Seems like a good deal tho. Save $1000 on the upgrade. You don't have to send your original M back so you can carry on working with it and you can keep your original M as a backup body, or even sell it! :)

I'm trying to beg for one and see if someone will give me their out dated RED One MX for free. Heck I'll even take a RED One M if you pay me $500 and pay for shipping.

Heh heh! You would be far better asking for a free EPIC as it seems that it's mostly EPIC users claiming their cameras are now worthless. I suspect the people with Red Ones are shooting movies with them or something weird so aren't as keen to part with them! ;)

Anyway, you already have one! ;)

Yeah, not parting with mine. Original M or not, it still is an amazing camera. Just thinking I might just get a second one.
