I know some people talked about getting green tinted clips in FCPX with R3D footage. Most people said it would go away and not export like that.

I have 1 clip in a timeline that is green tinted and when exported it still is green... I've returned the clip to original settings, renamed it, moved it around, Sped it up, Slowed it Down doesn't matter.

I dont understand why its this one certain clip and no other clips.

Report the issue on red.com. I did with my issue but I just kind of brushed it off thinking it was because I was using really old footage. If this is occurring with new footage this definitely needs to be looked at.

Anyone had luck with this?

I color graded all my clips in RedCine-X then imported to Final Cut X. I then had Final Cut create proxies for each clip. I edited all the clips as proxies then went to return settings to using original clips. As soon as I did this most my timeline went green.... Really screwing me up on this.

Has there been any resolution to this issue? I've just been editing some footage with no issues for weeks, when importing directly into FCPX and bypassing Redcine-x, just experimenting.
Now I opened the files in RC-X first, made a one-light pass, and saved RMDs to the folders, and when I imported into FCPX I get green tinted images when timeline is paused. Its fine when playing back, but green when it pauses. What gives?Im on the latest FCPX update.

Is there a reason the RMDs are causing this?

Thanks Bob, I think found the problem. Someone mentioned it was the Denoise effect, so I switched that off, and all is good.
I'm on Mountain lion, latest version, latest fcpx, and yes, Red Giant plugins.

Interesting that it was the denoiser.
