Has anyone had success using Scopebox 3 with a Red Epic? I'm connecting the HDSDI signal using a BlackMagic UltraStudio Express via thunderbolt to a 15" Retina Macbook Pro. I can pull a signal from an Alexa or Sony F3 just fine. But every time I try connecting to a Red Epic, Scopebox is unable to pull a signal. I've tried every combination of frame rate and bit depth, without success. I've been trying to trouble shoot with Divergent Media, but so far none of their suggestions have worked. If anyone has this working, I'd appreciate the settings you use in Scopebox, plus anything you may have to do on the Epic.

Thanks

Are you sending 3G?

PsF or true24?

I don't have scopebox3 but I would suggest looking into these areas. I think all these cameras you listed can be modified to output variations of the above.

I tested Scopebox 3 with both an Epic and Scarlet about 2 weeks ago with no problems. Both cameras were using firmware 3.2.21. Signal went SDI from camera to a Panasonic monitor, looped through to my Decklink SDI card. (I doubt the Panasonic made any difference, I just wanted to be accurate.) It's such a simple app, all I did was choose the frame rate and "codec". Are you able to see the SDI feed in other software, such as Blackmagic Media Express?
