Motion Graphics Programs

[Jeffrey T. Morgan]

Hey folks,

A collegue of mine is thinking about learning Flash. She wants to be able to easily and consistantly create things like this:

What would you recommend for tools for this? Is flash a problem with occasional spats with Apple, etc? Looking for a program that probably has a lot of templates and a reasonable level of polish.

Thanks!

I'm a fan of Apple Motion. You don't need to learn flash for whats in that video.

Thanks Bob. I want to make sure she has a diverse and powerful tool, and it sounds like Apple Motion and Adobe After Effects are the lead choices? Personally I think she will like motion because of the templates to get her started.

Any other thoughts out there?

I love using Prezi for specific applications. To the point where I even do a screen record from my computer to save as a movie sometimes.
