RED Rocket PCI error

sure, this pops up every time I start redcineX, my rocket is in a Sonnet case though which I believe is only a 4x.

is yours straight in the machine or in an external case ?

It should still work fine though ?

In a 2010 Mac Pro tower. Didn't used to get this. So I understand - if I upgrade my OS to 10.8.2 my RR will get bitchy?

yes there are currently problems with the rocket on 10.8.2, mine works fine for some reason...apart from a few random crashes of redcine every now and then but I saw a thread the other day where quite a few people couldn't use their RR at all on 10.8.2 and had to painfully downgrade their OS. so maybe hold off with an update if you dont really HAVE to upgrade and your rocket works as it is at the moment. the 4x lane warning isnt really a problem.

The only known issue with Rocket on 10.8.2 is over Thunderbolt.

Josh, are you sure you are on the latest build there? We added a way to disable that dialog so it isn't always shown on startup.

Just updated from 1.1.16.8 to 1.1.16.8 - seems to have fixed it. Must not have done enough complete shutdowns ; - )
