Hello,
I am selecting some snapshots from various clips as I want to print some frames. I chose the folder path, and the quality in the preferences menu, and started to select the frames by pressing the snapshot icon on the viewer. The first 8 snapshots worked perfectly and are on the destination folder. I kept selecting and pressing the snapshot Icon, but after an hour or so of selection, to my surprise, I noticed that the 50+ frames that I wanted are not in the destination folder, instead they appear on the render queue as "queued" but are not being exported. After looking around and pressing a few right clicks, I dont see an option to render them out..how can I do this? I don't want to loose all the time that I spent selecting each frame..help!
thanks!
Felipe

I had the same issue- seems RCX is exporting to the parent directory of whichever folder I was selecting, so in the case of choosing a root directory or desktop, the Snapshots would export into the Twilight Zone, never to be seen again. I'd recommend nesting two folders then select the second folder as your snapshot destination. Snapshots should appear in the first folder.

Thanks David, with the screen grab application I am going to save the name list of the selected Stills and unfortunately reopen the project and find each frame manually again...

Same problem here, although in my case Redcine X stops exporting after the first one.
No joy with David's method either.
If I export one shot, then go into the "Export" tab and delete the finished shot from the queue, I can make another one. But this is pretty laborious...
Cheers,
Harry

Same here, since the last update. Really annoying bug! Please fix it soon RED!!!!
So long what you can do is click Snapshot and just wait until the snapshot renders and then make another one and wait every time each one renders, works for me!

Thanks David.
Redcine X is really evolving. I guess bugs are just a fact of life with software.
Looking forward to the next release.
It might be nice to add a couple of flavors of jpeg as a choice in snapshot settings. I had 50 shots which I needed to ftp jpegs of to the client after a shoot. Making TIFFs and batching them seemed a bit much, so I opened my exported Quicktimes in Clipfinder (yes, Clipfinder!) and exported the frames from there.
I guess I also could have set up a jpeg preset under the Export tab. But the snapshot is so handy, it would be great to have some choices there. Plus with snapshot, I can scrub to a frame I like.
Cheers,
Harry

You can set the snapshot preset in the preferences to use export presets, this way you can make jpgs with snapshot!

Ah. I see. Not intuitive, but I set it up and it seems to work. Thanks for the tip, Eduard!
Cheers,
Harry
