Hooked - The Art Of Body Suspension (graphic)

[Dominik Muench]

Hi Guys

I shot this material a couple of weeks ago of a bunch of friends doing body suspension.

I had virtual nothing with me except my EPIC with the Red 17-50mm zoom and a couple of batteries.

The setup and rigging took quite some time so unfortunately I didn't have much daylight left to shoot in, but I think the footage still gives some interesting insight in a very unusual "pastime".

wow. looks like a barrel of fun.

the girls called it a very relaxing and almost meditative experience....despite all the hooks and pierced skin....and while I almost fainted just looking at it...they didn't even flinch.

Wow, wow, wow. That leaves me dry in the mouth. But the film was beautiful, the slow-mo worked really great. Thanks for sharing.

my pleasure. Unfortunately all the slow-mo scenes towards the end were shot around sundown in a valley surrounded by trees. I had hardly any light left, which is why the footage turned out really noisy.
