Hi!

I know this question has been circling thru this forum, but, just to be sure .
Is it correct to multiply each number of resolution to 0.0054?

ex:

4800px x 2700px, 4800 x 0.0054 = 25.92, 2700 x 0.0054 = 14.58
film back = 25.92mm x 14.58mm

This figure 0.0054 - is this a correct multiplier for EPIC and/or SCARLET sensor, to get FILM BACK value in millimeters?

Thanks in advance! Z.

Yes the pixel pitch (size) for the Epic (and Scarlet) sensors is 5.4um or .0054mm. So that multiplied by the pixel dimension will give you your mm dimension that is being used of the sensor.
