I have a question that I need a knowledgeable answer on, especially from you guys that have been doing this stuff for years and years, and working with Adobe Premiere Pro in a Window7 PC.
If I have a production in APP CS5.5 that I am working on, and let's say it's a 1 hour movie, and I complete it, or even have it only half finished, can I save the PROGRAM itself onto a DVD for protection?
I know I can save the movie onto Blu-Ray or DVD, but I'm NOT talking about the completed movie. I'm talking about "THE ADOBE PROGRAM" itself. In other words, I want to save the CS5.5 program, with all it's edited sequences, onto another medium other than the computer itself. Can this be done, and if so, how?
I realize if I wanted to put the program from the disc back into the computer, the "original" R3D files/scenes would have to still be where they were in the computer or the program couldn't find them.
All help and advise would be appreciated.
Thanks.
