Checked it out, I dig the color in the garage set-up... very nice range and tones.

Of course, we've gotta ask which lenses you used.

The whole thing was shot with two Zeiss ZE lenses. 18mm f3.5 and 50mm f 1.4, mostly with higher shutter speed.

Really good color and lighting setup. Can you tell us about the workflow about the coloring and sharpening (if thre is any)?

best regards

Almost all of the primary color work was done in red cinex pro. Throwing some curves on it, desaturating the colors, and using exesivly the alchemy filters to contrast and sharpen the shots.

Nice ringlight in the stairs scene ... Maybe its just a vimeo issue, but several shots don't seem to be lipsync
and yeah ... fatass beat bouncin' ;-))

Yea compresion and fast past video audio sinc are not very good frends, both Vimeo and YouTube start getting off mostly 1 min into it.

James thanks for the informative answers. One last question, what format do you choose while exporting from rcx?

It was all exported in AppleProRes 4444. The format supports 32 bit floating point. So it was perfect for it.

Didn't care for the song, but image wise you hit the exposure on every shot.

With 13 f stops of raw, it would be really hard not to. I am embarrassed to admit I don't even own a light meeter. ; )

Looks good! I Dig the color..I would watch out for Reflections in glasses next time, or at least try to disguise them with some diffusion on Ring light.

Actually reflection in the glasses and laving lights purposefully in the shot was a conscious decision and part of the concept.

Great images, but would like to see you shoot alternate content.

Not very likely to happen, I personally find dialogue work boring and have no ambitions to do short or feature film.

; )
