So we have yet another big release shot on Red, and a period piece no less.

Not sure how I feel about the music choice but the footage looks great.

Yup, I dont know how I feel about "modern" sounding music in period pieces in general, but the film looks great other than that

I found the music distracting too but it's a trailer. Footage looks good.

Same here Bob. They made a good try remixing SantiGold but ultimately it was hit or miss with the cuts. Made the film feel low budget. The atmosphere of the times and the big deal this man was didn't seem to be captured in the trailer. "Just another baseball story right?

I'm not excited about this film, I might eventually see it on DVD at a friends house. The subject matter and the mans story, however, I am quite interested in hearing. Still, while the trailer failed, the film could still be awesome.

Hope they really dig deep into the off the field stuff. This is an incredible story and hopefully they do it justice.

Yeah, well, the trailer music, I suppose, was intended to appeal to and attract a certain younger demographic. Demonstrating whoever made the cynical marketing decision is probably too young to even grasp the history, never mind respect it. Few do. Let's hope the writers/filmmakers did.

One of my PA's plays one of the white baseball players. He talked about them shooting with the epic. It helps him out a little more when we shoot now. Funny how things work.
The film has a great look.
