UPDATE 9/21: SOLD!

UPDATE 9/20:

We've sold off most of our RED One specific accessories, but will include these few remaining along with the body:

1 RED charger (including the AC adaptor cable for the camera)

1 RED Brick battery. The battery charges fine, but the contacts at the bottom will need to be replaced soon.

1 5.6" LCD monitor. We no longer have the cable for the LCD, though. We sold it previously. The monitor has a few scratches, but last time it was checked, it worked fine.

1 Bottom plate.

1 Dovetail.

1 Top mount.

All of these along with the camera body for $4900.

For Sale: RED One M-sensor Body Only

PL mount and CF Module.

Serial #1183

Only 297 hours!

Priced to move!

We're getting rid of our last RED One. Now that we have access to more Epics, we no longer need it as a B or C cam.

Many, many feature films, and countless commercials and music videos have been shot on the regular Mysterium sensor, and it has some great advantages over a Scarlet. It makes gorgeous images up to 4.5K resolution and can shoot 120fps at 2K. It has 4 channels of uncompressed audio(Epic doesn't even have that!) There are actually quite a few Redusers that prefer the look of the M sensor to the MX. Footage intercuts with MX extremely well and when properly exposed and color corrected, it's indistinguishable!. We've never had anyone tell the difference. Plus, RED Color 3 and Red Gamma 3 are available on the Red One! There are quite a few Redusers that prefer the look of the M sensor to the MX. Of course, you can upgrade to the MX sensor and gain a one-year warranty in the process!

$4900 until Thursday 9/20.

I'm leaving on a several week shoot on Friday and would really prefer sell the camera before then.

My desire for convenience gives you a fantastic deal!

After Thursday, the price goes up to $7000.

Updated above.

Still available. I've received a lot of interest, but no takers yet.

How is this still available? If I was in the market for a cinema camera I wouldn't even hesitate at this price assuming camera is in perfect operating condition. Seems like the perfect camera for an indie filmmaker who can then upgrade later to MX, SSD, etc. For those wondering what the actual cost would be to get this to a useable shooting package.

- Need more V-mount batteries. Check out some of the third parties. There are deals to be had. You should be able to get a decent battery arsenal for under $1500.
- You'll need an LCD cable. $240 (buy new if you can).
- Lenses - You can find the RED 18-50 PL mount lens going for $2500-$3000 here on Reduser. If you can't afford PL go with Nikon mount (Red version can be found for $200 or so) Optitek Nikon ProLock Mount ($700) or Allstar AMount. The Allstar gets a bit expensive if you want to have an adapter for each still lens but opens you up to a ton of lenses. You can find cheap Nikon lenses to get you started. 3 or 4 lenses will run you under a thousand dollars.
- RED Media. Can find drives for as little as $250 for a 320GB, CF cards are cheap now, and even the RED RAM 128GB can be found for reasonable prices.
- Tripod. At minimum something that can hold 20lbs. Better yet, one rated for minimum of 35lbs will give you options.

So, to get yourself started:
- Red body being sold here $4900
- Red Drive $250
- Red LCD Cable $240
- Batteries $1000
- Nikon Mount $200
- Nikon still lenses $1000

You can be shooting RED for about $7590. Obviously there are other things you'll want to get. But realistically this could have you shooting with a Red One. Just food for thought for those on the fence.

Pretty much what I am planning to do once I get the funds together. And the longer it takes me to save up, the cheaper the M bodies get haha.
