When I'm using RCXP I'm finding it slowing my workflow down because it wants to buffer any clip that's loaded into the viewer. If I'm exporting/transcoding a batch of clips, but need to look at new incoming clips briefly the transcoding process pauses and won't continue until the clip is finished being buffered, even if I've already seen what I need to. It would be great if there was a way to turn auto-buffering off and also a way to close or unload clips. A button and keyboard command would be great.

If you go into preferences in the Playback section and reduce the memory usage to 1% the buffering will be greatly reduced down to just a few frames.

Note: there is a minimum user interaction delay between viewer/grading actions and exports resuming of about 10 seconds which has nothing to do with clips being loaded but is there to prevent you from experiencing the delays and slow downs from the export while actually using the app.

Ah, thanks. I wasn't aware that setting would change that, however I do want it to buffer when I do want to actually play a clip so it would probably be bad for me to lower it. I might actually want to increase it. I think it would still be nice to have the ability to unload or close a clip.
